Help support a Safe Summer in Indianapolis

Safe Summer aims to provide fun, enriching, and free activities while young people are out of
school for the summer - running every Friday from June 10 through August 5 at Garfield, Riverside, and Washington Parks. Garfield and Riverside Parks will be open from 7 to 10 pm, and Washington Park will be open from 8 to 11 pm.

With activations from sponsors such as Pacers Sports and Entertainment, the IUPUI Men’s Basketball team, Kareem Hines’s Guns Down, Gloves Up program through New BOY Youth and more - young men and women ages 13 and older will not want to miss a Friday night.

“When it comes to a safer, stronger Indianapolis, everyone has a role to play. Whether it’s through sponsoring an activity at one of our Indy Parks locations or offering mentorship and support to our young people, there are countless ways we can all make a difference – together.”
— Deputy Mayor Judith Thomas

The Indy Public Safety Foundation (IPSF) and the Office of Public Health and Safety (OPHS) are seeking additional partners to donate their time, talent or treasure to this effort.
