The Axemen Motorcycle Club was founded in the Detroit metro area in March 1998 by 12 founding members. This established the first club of it’s type to be exclusively comprised of firefighters - both current and retired members of the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF). The Axemen nation has now grown to comprise 33 chapters in 16 states across the nation. Even with that expansion, the Axemen nation has continued to pride itself on living by its motto “Quality over Quantity.”

The Indy Public Safety Foundation is proud to support the Indianapolis chapter of the Axemen Motorcycle Club. Our local chapter raises money for important causes such as IFD’s Peer Support program, Hoosier Burn Camp, Riley Hospital for Children and more. Axemen MC honors and supports firefighters in need and supports firefighter wellness
